Training effectively in door-to-door: Agathe's secrets, Stage 5 at Geninc

Agathe is Stage 5 at Geninc — a franchise in the making. She is one of those who has not only progressed through the Pathway, but who is now actively training the Brand Ambassadors who join her. We asked her one simple question: how do you effectively train someone in door-to-door? Here is what she shared with us.

Key #1: Lead by example in the field
"I think there is nothing better than going into the field yourself and showing how it's done."
For Agathe, training doesn't start in a room. It starts outside, in front of doors, in real conditions. Leading by example is the most direct and honest way to pass on knowledge: the BA sees how their trainer reacts to a refusal, how they adapt their pitch, how they stay motivated after a closed door.
It's also a matter of credibility. You can't ask someone to do something you're no longer able to do yourself. Going into the field with your team, even as a Stage 5, is a reminder that field work remains the foundation — and that no one is above that.
Key #2: Share your personal success strategies and adapt them to each profile
"Sharing our personal success keys and adapting them based on the Brand Ambassador's profile."
Agathe's second key touches on something essential in the Geninc model: there is no universal method that works the same way for everyone.
What Agathe shares with those she trains isn't rigid scripts — it's her own instincts, her own phrasing, the approaches that have worked for her. But she doesn't stop there: she observes the person in front of her, their personality, their natural way of communicating, their strengths. And she adapts.
A more reserved BA won't use the same approaches as a naturally extroverted one. A brand new BA doesn't need the same reference points as someone with a few weeks of field experience. Personalised training is what makes the difference between someone who mechanically reproduces and someone who truly understands and makes it their own.
What Agathe's testimony says about the Geninc model
It's no coincidence that Agathe is Stage 5. Her approach to training reflects exactly what Geninc values in its Pathway: transmission through example, individualised support, and the belief that every Brand Ambassador has their own unique potential to develop.
At Geninc, training someone doesn't mean duplicating them. It means giving them the tools to find their own way to excel.
What is Stage 5 at Geninc?
Stage 5 is an advanced step in the Geninc. At this level, the team member is developing their own office and moving towards franchise status. They play an active role in training and developing the Brand Ambassadors in their team.
What is a franchise-in-progress at Geninc?
It's a team member who has validated the stages and is in the process of building their own structure within the Geninc network — with their own teams, their own objectives, and their own development vision.
How long does it take to reach Stage 5 at Geninc?
It depends entirely on commitment and results. The Geninc Pathway is meritocratic: progression is linked to performance, not seniority.
